1 year of blogging!

On March 31, It will be one year since I started this blog, Sisters in Prayer! In April it will be two years since I actually started SIP.

In April 2008, I mailed prayer lists to some girls I knew. They mailed or emailed prayer requests to me, and every week, I sent out a prayer list. Slowly, SIP, grew, and I had a bunch of girls I was mailing the lists to. So, I wanted a easier and better solution to sharing prayer requests with other girls. On March 31 of last year, my Mother and I went online and figured out about what a blog was, and how it worked, and we prayed, and I felt the Lord wanted me to start a blog. I am not really sure how many young ladies read SIP now, but I pray that this blog is a blessing to you, and that it has been a encouraging and helpful place. Even though sometimes, we may not know exactly who we are praying for, the Lord knows, and he hears and answers our prayers! I also pray that the Prayer and Card Ministry is a blessing to people whom are ill, and Its so nice when I have received a card from the people we have prayed for, and to know that have been blessed by our prayers!
