God's Timing~

I have been thinking allot lately about God's timing, and how His timing is always right.
Its very hard to wait! It seems like most of my time is waiting! But while we wait, God teaches us things, and sometimes those things are very hard to learn, and very hard to go through while we wait for God. Psalm 25:5 says: Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;on thee do I wait all day.
Sometimes though,we wait longer than a day! We can wait for weeks before God answers us. But, we find that His timing is always right! We want something now, but the Lord knows when we need it, and he gives us what we prayed for or needed at just the right time, HIS time! We may not understand why we had to wait, or why the Lord allowed this now, But He allowes things at just the right time, HIS time!
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to brake down, and a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance......." Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
One of the longest times I've had to wait yet, was the day and a half period when my baby cousin was in an accident, and my brothers and sister and I stayed home with grandparents while we waited to hear news. Would my dear baby cousin live, or would God see fit to take him home? The wait was agonizing and painful. We waited and waited. Then, God took our baby home.
Why? We don't know. But God's timing is always right. Right now, it is our time to weep and mourn, but someday we'll laugh and dance, when God's time is right.
While we wait, God teaches us things, but we have to allow Him to teach us things, and learn to pray and ask Him to help us learn while we wait. Waiting can be used for God's glory too, someday, we may look back and see things that we learned while we waited!
Keep praying!

Good Post Mariah!

I prayed for a pet bird, oh, ever since I was about 5. It was so hard to wait! But then one day, about a year ago, I was coming home from shopping with my Mom, as we were pulling in the drive way, I saw my brothers, with their friends, and my dad, all in a circle, huddled around something. I hopped out, to see, It was a Hummingbird, with a wounded wing :(
I took the humming bird in and made a home for him out of a shoe box, I laid paper towel’s on the floor, I took little caps of water bottles, and filled them with sugar water, and put some flowers in there. Then I took the lid off a peanut butter jar for a little bath. And lastly I found a little stick, which little Ruby LOVED to perch on! I loved Little Ruby, and I truly believe she loved me, we got to know each other so much, that she would let me pet her, and she would sometimes perch on my finger! Think about it, a hummingbird perching on your finger, and being able to pet her! Well, about after two happy months, Ruby got sick, I went to the pet store to get some sugar water that had special nutrition’s in it, but that did not help. One day, my little friend died. I was so sad that I could not stop crying. Every thing I saw somehow went back to my little Ruby!
I wondered why God would take my little friend away, just as we were getting to know each-other, I new I would NEVER love a bird as much as my Little ruby.
One day though Mom and Dad said I could get another bird, and so I read up all I could on Parakeets, and one day, (after about a month of reading), I said I just have to get a parakeet!
So last may, My parents, took me two eight different pet stores, I was in despair at the seventh, because none of them were what I wanted, but when we got to the eighth, I saw her, a baby blue little Budgie! I new she was the one! We bought her, and ever since I have never regretted my choice.
We are the best of buddies, and she wants to sit on my shoulder all day now, and she has also tried to MATE ME!
Now, about seven months later, I can truly say that I love Liberty, Just as much as Ruby. Ruby will always have a special place in my heart though.

So that is my story of how we all need to wait on God's perfect timing. As your post said!

Have a blessed Day, Dear Friend,

Johanna
